Mobiado is proud to announce the PRO3 GCB Great Empires - Russia, a new phone embodying uniqueness, art & design, – and exclusivity. The piece joins the extended collection of the PRO3 GCB series and features a CNC machine engraved Russian Eagle, the coat of arms of the Russian Federation. This derives from the earlier Russian Empire coat of arms which was abolished with the Russian Revolution in 1917 and restored in 1993.

​​The current coat of arms is derived directly from its medieval original, while the double-headed eagle has a history predating the Byzantine Empire, dating back long before the emergence of any Russian state. The golden ball and scepter in its claws represent the power of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Tsar.

Engraved Mobile Art: Cultural and Artistic Value

 

The brass frame of the PRO3 GCB Great Empires - Russia is CNC machined, and precision engraved with the Russian Eagle decorative image. The frame is then glass-bead blasted and plated with 24 karat gold to produce the final Engineering Artwork. Large sapphire crystal plates are precision inset into the gold body and are combined with gold painted sapphire buttons and gold plated screws. Now available in a limited series of 99 phones.

The PRO3 GCB Water Dragon is unlocked and will work with any GSM network operator. The phone is dual SIM quad-band GSM (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) and has dual band 3G coverage WCDMA (on main SIM only). It is equipped with a 2.4” QVGA display, expandable microSD memory, camera and video camera, web browser, bluetooth 3.0, email support, and a music player.
